Privacy Policy

The operator (the “operator”) of suzukey.me (the “Site”) considers the appropriate handling of users' personal information an important responsibility and establishes this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”).

1. Personal information collected

Depending on the features used, the Site collects the following information.

1.1. When browsing the Site

IP addresses, device and browser information, access times, communications logs, errors, and other technical information are handled for site delivery and security.

1.2. When making an inquiry

Information received by email includes inquiry contents, contact details such as the sender's email address, attachments, and environment information included in reports.

Simply viewing the contact page or copying a template does not send an inquiry to the operator.

1.3. When playing browser games

When games are used, the Site handles nicknames, session information for returning to games, and game progress and results. Nicknames and publicly visible game progress are shown to other players in the same room.

2. Purposes of use

Information is used for:

• Providing and operating the website and games
• Delivering advertising and transmitting information necessary for that purpose
• Responding to inquiries and requests concerning users' rights
• Preventing and addressing violations of the Terms of Use and abuse
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and security
• Meeting legal requirements

3. Third-party services and external transmission

3.1. Services used for delivery, embedded content, and email

The following providers handle information depending on the features used. Their purposes of use and other details are also described in the linked policies.

  Handles IP addresses, browser information, communications content, and user information stored by the Site for website and game delivery, data storage, and security.

• Google:
  Information handling for advertising on the Site is described in the next section.
  Work showcases use embedded YouTube videos in Privacy Enhanced Mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Loading or playing the videos sends information such as IP addresses, browser information, and playback information to Google. Privacy Enhanced Mode does not eliminate external communications.
  Composing an email in Gmail sends the recipient address, subject, and message to Google.

Article thumbnails are loaded from external image providers, which receive information such as IP addresses and browser information. Opening links to articles, works, or social profiles is subject to the information handling policies of the destination sites.

3.2. Advertising

When the Site displays ads through Google AdSense, information is handled as follows.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on users' prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to display ads based on those visits.

Personalized advertising can be managed in Google's ad settings.

3.3. Cookies and device storage

Across the Site, cookies are used to preserve the selected display language.

Games use session cookies to let players return and store nicknames, room passphrases, and settings such as volume and rules on the device.

Cookies also store advertising consent preferences. When a Cookie settings button is available, it can be used to change advertising choices.

Users may clear site data through browser settings.
Doing so may reset language or game settings or prevent returning to a game.

3.4. Information and consent

When external services or information handling change, necessary disclosures are updated before the changes take effect.

Processing that requires consent under law or provider policies occurs only after the required consent is obtained.
Using the Site or reading this Policy is not treated as consent to advertising.

4. Disclosure of personal information to third parties

Except for the in-game information described above, the operator does not disclose personal data to third parties without consent.
Exceptions apply where permitted by law, including disclosures required by law or necessary to protect life, bodily safety, or property when obtaining consent is difficult.

Certain situations, including entrusting information handling to providers as necessary for operations, are not treated as third-party disclosure under applicable law. The operator exercises necessary oversight of those providers.

5. Management of personal information

The operator applies appropriate security measures, including authentication, access restrictions, and protection of communications, to prevent leakage, loss, damage, and other risks to personal information.

User information is retained as necessary to provide the Site, establish rights, address abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Information that is no longer needed is deleted or otherwise appropriately addressed.
Clearing data on a device does not immediately delete related server data.

6. Access, correction, and deletion

6.1. Requests

Under applicable law, users may request notification of purposes of use, access to, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of retained personal data, cessation of third-party disclosure, and disclosure of third-party transfer records.

Requests are accepted by email at the contact address below.
The operator verifies identity as necessary and responds in accordance with law.
If a request cannot be met in full or in part, the reason will be explained.

6.2. Contact

Privacy questions, complaints, and requests are accepted by email at support@izumi.studio.

The name and address of the business operator handling personal information will be provided without delay upon request from the individual concerned.

7. Processing overseas

The Site operates from Japan, and personal information may be processed or stored in facilities in Japan or overseas.

For overseas processing, the operator checks the information handled and necessary safeguards, and provides information or obtains consent where required by law.

8. Use by minors

Where handling a minor's personal information requires consent from a legal representative under applicable law, the operator obtains the necessary consent.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The operator may update this Policy as necessary.
Material changes will be announced through the Site, and separate consent will be obtained for changes that require it by law.

10. Governing law

This Policy is governed by and interpreted under Japanese law.
It does not restrict rights granted to users by applicable law.

11. Language

This English translation is provided for reference.
The Japanese version is the original and takes precedence if there is any discrepancy between the versions.
